A RICH ‘KNOCKOUT’

‘Jew slur’ heiress in purse attack

Jacqueline Kent Cooke — the millionaire socialite daughter of late NFL Washington Redskins owner Jack Kent Cooke — was arrested on an assault rap Wednesday after allegedly making an anti-Semitic comment to a stranger at an Upper East Side restaurant on New Year’s Eve and then bashing him with her heavy glass purse, sources told The Post.

Cooke, 28, allegedly whacked Matthew Haberkorn, 52, outside Caravaggio on East 74th Street and left him with a head gash, law-enforcement sources said.

Haberkorn, an attorney visiting from San Francisco, said he had just finished dining with his wife, mom and four daughters when Cooke started the encounter by hurling the slur at his mom exiting the eatery.

“I went to the bathroom as we were leaving,” Haberkorn told The Post. “She made a comment to my mother, ‘Hurry up, you Jew,’ as she was getting her jacket.”

Cooke then allegedly told Haberkorn’s mother to “use some of your money and get a nose job,” Haberkorn said. When he confronted Cooke, she allegedly swung the bag.

“She clocks me on the head with her glass purse,” he said.

The purse appeared to be a Lulu Guinness Chloe Mirror Perspex Clutch, which sells for about $425.

Haberkorn said the woman’s boyfriend then got involved and Cooke struck him again. The boyfriend also apparently mocked Haberkorn’s daughters by saying, “Happy bat mitzvah, girls.”

Cooke, whose sports-entrepreneur dad also owned the NBA LA Lakers and the NHL LA Kings, claimed she hurt her finger in the incident, sources said.

Haberkorn told The Post she appeared inebriated and fell before running off.

In 2008, Cooke was busted in Boston on a DWI rap, Boston.com reported. When apprehended, she allegedly asked arresting officers if they knew who her father was and said she would have their badges because “$1 billion goes a long way.”

Cooke was due to be arraigned in Manhattan Criminal Court.

She refused to comment as she was walked from the 19th Precinct station house. Phone calls to her representatives and family seeking comment were not immediately returned.
