Weird BUT true

Usually, fans pay the musician for tickets.

But rocker Andrew W.K. offered to pay Luke Mitchell’s $140 speeding fine when Mitchell tweeted that he’d been pulled over in England while rocking out to a new W.K. tune.

Although W.K. claimed responsibility “for the sonic party power that caused you to speed,” Mitchell asked him to give the cash to a “more worthy cause.”

Freeing 52 bison from pens in Yellowstone Park might have seemed like a kind idea.

But park officials say it could kill the animals — and others — because they were being quarantined for a dangerous virus.

“This is an egregious criminal act that sets back bison conservation,” said park Superintendent Dan Wenk who is hunting for the liberators. Look, a hole new room! A sinkhole that opened under an Idaho Falls family’s garage revealed a secret cellar with shelves of children’s toys, a purse, hair curlers and old letters.

Homeowner Brittany Bush said she hopes the secret room, not in any government records, isn’t hiding “a body down there.” It’s a shocking proposal. Australian legislator Melinda Pavey wants to require truck drivers to wear devices that zap them if they nod off on the road.

“The technology now is so advanced, a driver can be driving and get an electric shock if they look away from the wind[shield] for more than two seconds,” she said.

The geek shall inherit the earth.

The Church of Satan says sex bots will be mankind’s salvation — because they’ll let humans exercise their darkest sexual fantasies without harming others.

“Scientists and technogeeks are doing a bang-up job” improving sex dolls to “satisfy your most secret desires,” said a recent blog post for the church’s 50th anniversary.
