Govt. to probe sex abuse

Wynn ‘perv’ accusations

- By RUTH BROWN

Dozens of people claim casino tycoon Steve Wynn is a massive creep who pressures employees into sex acts and walks around the workplace with his privates hanging out of his short shorts, according to a bombshell report.

Wynn — the 76-year-old billionaire CEO of Wynn Resorts and finance chair for the Republican National Committee — paid a $7.5 million settlement to a former manicurist at his Las Vegas hotel who claimed he forced her to have sex during an appointment in his office, according to a Wall Street Journal exposé.

The married woman left the appointment sobbing and told workers Wynn had instructed her to disrobe and lie down on a massage table. She objected, saying she didn’t want to have sex with him, but ultimately gave in to his demands, the Journal reported.

Workers at the hotel’s spa hid in a bathroom to avoid being the subject of his sexual advances, ac- cording to the Journal, which cited more than 150 current and former employees as sources for its story.

“Everybody was petrified,” Jorgen Nielsen, a former artistic director at the salon, told the paper, saying he reported the problem to high-level company executives but “nobody was there to help us.”

One former massage therapist claims Wynn pressured her into giving him months of “happy endings” several years ago. When he tried to escalate to oral sex, she finally said no — and he halted the sessions, she told the Journal.

Other Wynn workers said he would often walk around wearing extremely short shorts and no underwear so everyone copped an eyeful of his manhood, the paper reported.

One female employee told the Journal that Wynn once rubbed his genitals while they were hanging out of his tiny shorts, and on another occasion grabbed her and told her to kiss him.

“So when are you going to come into my office and f--k me?” the billionaire allegedly told her another time.

And Wynn’s alleged misconduct spans decades; in an early-1990s lawsuit, a former executive at the Golden Nugget said he “routinely received complaints from various department heads regarding Wynn’s chronic sexual harassment of female employees,” while his boss instructed him to get the home phone numbers of cocktail waitresses, the Journal reported.

The board of directors of Wynn Resorts said that they would form a special committee to investigate the allegations.

Wynn denied all the accusations to the paper, claiming it was all a smear campaign by his exwife, Elaine Wynn.

“The idea that I ever assaulted any woman is preposterous,” Wynn told the Journal.

“We find ourselves in a world where people can make allega- tions, regardless of the truth, and a person is left with the choice of weathering insulting publicity or engaging in multiyear lawsuits,” he added. “It is deplorable for anyone to find themselves in this situation.”

Wynn — who has been involved in casino openings in Las Vegas and around the world — is a prolific GOP donor who has given millions to party committees and candidates over the years, including $2.5 million to the Republican Governors Association, $248,000 to the Republican National Committee and $100,000 to the National Republican Congressional Committee over the past five years, according to Politico.

President Trump, a former business rival, now calls Wynn a “great friend.” The casino mogul co-hosted a $100,000-per-couple gala last weekend to celebrate Trump’s first year in office.

The White House and the RNC did not immediately return requests for comment.
