Parties trade barbs
The Republican and Democratic leaders of the House Intelligence Committee sparred Sunday over President Trump’s decision not to release a memo that rebuts a GOP document accusing the FBI of abusing surveillance rules.
Rep. Adam Schiff, the top Democrat on the panel, told CBS’s “Face the Nation” that Trump doesn’t want to release his party’s memo because it undercuts his “claim of vindication” in the Russia probe.
But Rep. Devin Nunes, the Republican chair, said on Fox’s “Sunday Morning Features” that the Democrats’ memo included sensitive information.
