Teen mob beats up beggar

A panhandler was chased down and beaten by a mob of almost 30 teenagers in a Manhattan subway station, police said Sunday.

The 29-year-old man was asking for money on an uptown A train as it pulled into Columbus Circle station at around 9:15 p.m. Saturday. A group of 20 to 30 kids followed him when he got off and the beating began, police said.

A passenger witnessed the attack and ran to alert police. The kids scattered, but not before cops arrested two of the them: a 16-year-old girl and boy.

The victim, who police believe is homeless, was taken to Mount Sinai St. Luke’s with minor injuries.

The girl was released on her own recognizance.

The other teen, Justin Moore (inset), was arraigned Sunday night.

The boy’s mom, Jacqueline Walker, 42, said police have the wrong kid.

“There’s a video of the kids who were stomping this person,” she said. “You can clearly see one is wearing a tan jacket. One is wearing a blue jacket. It’s not my son.”

She has not been able to identify her son in the video — but says he was wearing a black jacket.
