Preg-beat disorder in court

-

Mayhem erupted in a Bronx courthouse Tuesday following the arraignments of two women accused of beating a 7-months pregnant teen.

Male and female relatives of suspects Serenity Dunham, 18, and Tiffany Nurse, 27, were handcuffed outside Criminal Court during the chaos.

“I love you cousin!” one person yelled as Dunham and Nurse were escorted from the hearing. Others in a group of about a dozen spectators barked at court officers, shouting: “Why! Why are you doing this?”

Dangelo Davis and Lakea Varner were slapped with summonses for disorderly conduct, state court spokesman Lucien Chalfen said.

Davis was hit with an additional summons for unlawful possession of marijuana.

“At the conclusion of the arraignment, two family members became loud and belligerent and refused several lawful orders to vacate the . . . vestibule,” said Chalfen.

Dunham and Nurse were arrested Monday night in the Feb. 1 attack on Tylesha Mohammed, 19 — which was partly caught on surveillance footage. They also allegedly stole the victim’s cellphone during the beating.

The suspects “brutally punched and kicked” the victim “all the while saying that they’re going to kill her baby,” prosecutor Sarah Zuckerman said during the court appearance.
