Fla. killer tormented ex’s beau

A teen who dated Nikolas Cruz’s ex-girlfriend says the deranged Florida killer, blind with jealousy, once vowed to “shoot [him] dead” and “watch [him] bleed.”

Marjory Stoneman Douglas HS student Enea Sabadini, 17, says Cruz made the threats against him beginning in 2016 and continued his vendetta against him for months, eventually trying to stab him with pencils, the teen said.

“You f--king c--t stole my ex you c--t,” Cruz raged in one direct message to Sabadini on Instagram, according to BuzzFeed News. “You c--t. I am going to enjoy seeing you down on the grass. I am going to choke you.

“You have no idea what I’m capable of.”

Cruz, 19, who allegedly shot dead 17 people at the school Wednesday, began sending the threats to Sabadini and others after his girlfriend broke up with him in spring 2016 because he was violent and abusive.

Cruz first turned his rage to Dana Craig, 16, who was friends with his ex and had encouraged the girl to leave him.

The threats were along the lines of, “I’m going to get you, and I’m going to kill you because you took this person away from me. I’m going to kill your family,” Craig told BuzzFeed.

Craig said she reported the DMs to the head of security at Marjory Stoneman Douglas, which she, Cruz and Sabadini attended. It was unclear what, if any, follow-up was done by the school.

Cruz shifted his hatred to Sabadini after Sabadini began dating his ex in August 2016.

“Im going to watch ypu [sic] bleed,” Cruz seethed in one threat sent in early 2017. “iam going to shoot you dead.”

Sabadini said he also reported the threats to school authorities. The outcome of his complaints wasn’t clear.

The animosity between the teens led to two violent fights between them.

Cruz tried to stab Sabadini with pencils while chasing him down the street and calling him a “n-----r” during the first bout, which happened in front of their school in September 2016. Cruz lost it after Sabadini refused his order to “stop talking to her [the ex],” Sabadini said.

Weeks later, the two got into a brawl in the school cafeteria after Cruz winged a water bottle at Sabadini and tried to tackle him, witnesses told BuzzFeed.

Both teens were suspended for the incident. Cruz was later expelled for unspecified “disciplinary reasons.”

Sabadini and the ex stopped dating in December 2016, but Cruz continued to harass Saba- dini, calling him a gay slur and a “Hispanic wall jumper,” although Sabadini is Italian.

“You took my ex I been depressed,” Cruz wrote. “I been drinking and all I think is hurting you.”

Cruz also posed with guns and knives on Instagram, and someone using his name commented on a YouTube video in September, “I’m going to be a professional school shooter.”

School authorities have said they had no warning or indication of what Cruz was planning Wednesday.

President Trump tweeted after the massacre: “Neighbors and classmates knew he was a big problem. Must always report such instances to authorities, again and again!”

But Sabadini told BuzzFeed: “Personally, I don’t think he should say that. [Trump] doesn’t know the whole story. We tried.”
