‘ Fear’ not, Natalie!

-

NATALIE Portman stormed off the set of Vanity Fair’s controversial digital series, “Fear Box,” where celebs are — for reasons we don’t fully understand — asked to blindly stick their hands in a box and feel what sometimes turns out to be an animal. “Natalie was presented with the box and asked to put her hand inside and guess what’s inside. When she realized animals would be involved, she ended the shoot and stormed off,” a source told Page Six. Another insider told us Portman’s refusal wasn’t that dramatic. “She was given a [box with an] inanimate object and others were given animals. One of the animals seemed scared and Natalie declined to do anything with animals. She did her part and then politely moved on to her next interview . . . Natalie is an enormous animal lover so she just didn’t want to scare any of the animals, though they were all cared for appropriately . . . There was no drama or storming off involved,” the source said. Vanity Fair’s series appears to be a take on “Fear Factor.” “Black Panther” stars Chad

wick Boseman and Danai Gurira recently participated in the game where they were surprised by touching a chameleon and a guinea pig. The reaction was far more hilarious. “I don’t want to do that. It’s alive! . . .I can’t do lizards. I can’t do snakes,” Gurira said. When asked about Portman, a Vanity Fair rep said “‘Fear Box’ is no longer in production.”
