Have ski, won’t travel

When Mark Bridges (above right, with Helen Mirren) won the Best Costume Design Oscar for “Phantom Thread,” he didn’t realize there were more prizes to be had. He also won a 2018 Kawasaki Ultra 310LX Jet Ski for giving the shortest acceptance speech. According to the Hollywood Reporter, Bridges has given his water toy to Omaze.com for donation, the beneficiary being the Motion Picture & Television Fund (MPTF). Deadine to donate is April 26. A spokesperson for Bridges could not be reached to see if the designer claimed his third prize — a weekend at Lake Havasu, Ariz.
