Not a Feminist for All: Hillary’s Anti-Woman Jab

-

Hillary Clinton said that women who voted for President Trump were pressured to do so by their husbands, bosses or sons (“She’s got to stop,” Editorial, March 16).

According to her, anyone who wanted Trump as president was a “deplorable.” Now she says that as a woman I can’t think for myself. And she still doesn’t know why she lost? Thank goodness she did. Tina Taborsky Riverhead

Clinton owes my mom an apology. My mom is 84 years old, a registered independent and an independent thinker.

She casts her vote based on her thinking, not my dad’s. My mom is not a “deplorable”; she is an educated voter.

After considering all four major candidates, she opted not to vote for Clinton. That was her own choice.

Clinton publicly states that she’s a staunch advocate for women and girls, yet she readily dismisses the integrity of those who do not support her. That’s fine, but it is also hypocritical. If Clinton wants to know why she lost, she should look in the mirror. Eric Walters Staten Island

Clinton is very much mistaken if she thinks that going abroad and bashing the United States will make her more relevant here. It only serves to make the United States look weak.

Some foreign countries have already made it clear that they feel happier and more secure with Trump at the helm than with President Barack Obama. For her to continue Obama’s anti-American harangues would be embarrassing. Angela Lennox-Kay Hackettstown, NJ

Clinton implied that women who voted for Trump were too dumb to make up their own mind. Thousands of women, including myself, voted for Trump, and we are not sorry we did.

In fact, I advised my husband about Clinton’s faults, such as her lust for power and money, and he voted for Trump, too.

Hillary, please keep your mouth going. Soon even Democrats will vote for Trump. Laura Booth Staten Island

Of course Clinton thinks non-coastal women voted like their partners.

After all, she’s a woman from Arkansas who has always been in lockstep with her husband. Steven Palm Woodmere
