O’Day Spanx mystery
THE man that Aubrey O’Day had her now-famous “Spanx-ripping” romp with after filming the finale of a reality show may be accused sexual predator Russell Simmons — although Simmons firmly denies it. After news broke that the Danity Kane singer had an affair with Donald Trump Jr. after meeting him during the filming of “The Celebrity Apprentice” in 2011, a podcast surfaced in which she detailed a wild affair with a realityshow star. There was speculation on Tuesday that the man in question was Don Jr. or Diddy (with whom she filmed “Making the Band”). Page Six is told it could actually be Simmons. O’Day appeared in two episodes of the rap mogul’s largely forgotten 2010 reality show, “Running Russell Simmons.” In the “Risk!” podcast that O’Day recorded in 2012 she said that she and an unnamed man had flirted during filming, and that after she performed in the finale, “I was walking through the hallways and got pulled into this bathroom and he threw me up against the wall and looked at me for two seconds and then we started making out like crazy.” O’Day did perform on-camera with her band at a star-studded charity event in the finale of the series. But a rep for Simmons told Page Six on Wednesday, “Russell Simmons never had an intimate relationship with Aubrey O’Day. To be clear: He was not the man Ms. O’Day described as having met on a TV game show that she had a romantic relationship with.” Simmons has been accused of sexual misconduct, including rape, by some 12 women. He has consistently denied any wrongdoing.
