The stars of “Sex and the City” are aligning for Cynthia Nixon’s gubernatorial run, except for one — Sarah Jessica Parker. Asked on Twitter what she thought of her old co-star’s bid, Kim Cattrall (left), who played Samantha Jones to Nixon’s Miranda Hobbes in the HBO series, tweeted on Thursday, “I support & respect any former colleague’s right to make their own career choices.” And Kristin Davis, who played Charlotte York, has been praising Nixon over Twitter.

“I know she would be an excellent Governor!” she tweeted Monday

Willie Garson, who played Stanford Blatch, also backed Nixon.

“I cant think of anyone who’s more prepared, more caring, more educated on the issues and more READY than @cynthiaenixon,” he wrote on Instagram Monday.

“Please join her on this journey, together we can turn things around with candidates such as her.”

Parker (right), who starred as Carrie Bradshaw, has remained mum.

“Sarah Jessica is out of town for the spring break and unavailable available for comment,” her publicist, Ina Treciokas, said in a statement.

On Feb. 26, as rumors began egan to swirl about her gubernato-rial ambitions, Nixon posted a photo of herself and Parker to Instagram.

“Old friends ran into each other at a shoot today . . . miss you @sarahjessicapararker,” the caption read.

Parker replied, “@cynthiaenixon you’ve no idea how happy this made me but too brief.”
