Escape con cops a ‘pee’
Is that a 20-ounce can of iced tea in your prison pants, or are you just happy to see me?
The cop-killer who infamously escaped prison in 2015 insists he wasn’t pleasuring himself during a recent visit with his gal pal — he was just busting to hit the head in crotchen-hancing trousers.
“The visit was almost over, and I’d drank about three and a half 20-ounce iced teas . . . I really needed to pee,” David Sweat, 37, told The Post on Friday during an exclusive, hour-long interview at Attica Correctional Facility. “Like any little boy or man would do, I grabbed it like, ‘Man, I really have to pee.’ ”
Sources say Sweat was punished for fondling himself through his stateissued prison pants in the upstate lockup’s visiting area on March 8 — with fiancée Frances Malanik reaching through a partition to help out.
But Sweat claims it’s all a beat-up by corrections officers — who are out to get him because his arrival at the prison brought more security cameras, making it harder to hide their own dirty deeds.
Sources say Attica has added 2,000 more cameras, but that was planned two years ago.
Sweat maintains he was squirming in his seat only because of his desperate need to relieve himself.
As for the hand his new “Shawskank” allegedly lent, Sweat claims he stood up while the two were holding hands — which put his crotch in close proximity to his fiancée’s hands.
Malanik, 45, meanwhile, told The Post in a separate interview that she is a nurse and was merely giving Sweat an exam.
“He was complaining about a lump in his groin area,” she claimed.
The two began dating after his notorious 2015 escape from prison in Dannemora — in which Sweat and fellow murder convict Richard Matt busted out with the help of worker Joyce Mitchell.
Sources said Mitchell had sex with both mean — earning her the nickname “Shawskank,” a play off “The Shawshank Redemption.”
