How To Stop the Caravan From Coming To America
Many of those who illegally cross our southern border are not from Mexico but pass through on their way from Central America (“Keep the ‘Caravans’ out,” April 3).
If stopped by President Trump’s wall, they may remain and become Mexico’s problem. What Mexico really needs is a wall on its own southern border. Perhaps Trump could help them with that. Lawrence Bodenstein The Bronx
When businessman Donald Trump entered the 2016 presidential race, he declared his intention to build a wall, and illegal immigration was his prime issue.
He was, and is, right. But the news media accused Trump of hating all immigrants.
Trump was talking about people who did not enter this country through traditional immigration methods.
His supporters took a realistic look at what’s been happening to border towns as well as to communities across the country dealing with the massive influx of illegals and elected him president.
