It’s a tweet revenge on bad drivers

Reckless drivers, be warned: There’s a new shaming sheriff in town.

The cyclist who outed state Sen. Marty Golden for allegedly posing as a cop during a traffic dispute in Brooklyn is going the extra mile to scold scofflaws.

Software engineer Brian Howald has developed “How’s My Driving NY” — a Twitter account that lets users enter license plate numbers to check city records for past parking and camera violations.

“This is for someone who . . . might see someone parked in a crosswalk or driving dangerously,” Howald, 30, of Brooklyn Heights, told The Post.

A March 5 crash in Park Slope that claimed the lives of two tots fueled Howald’s idea.

A car mowed down Joshua Lew, 1, and Abigail Blumenstein, 4, as they crossed the street with their moms at Fifth Avenue and Ninth Street. It soon emerged that driver Dorothy Bruns’ white Volvo sedan had been slapped with a dozen violations since 2016, including eight camerabased tickets for speeding in school zones and running red lights.

“I want to expose the depth of the problem,” Howald said.

While cycling in December, Howald said, Golden tried to bully him out of a bicycle lane by claiming to be a cop. When Howald started taking pictures of Golden, the senator’s driver blew through at least one red light to get away, Howald claimed. A check of that vehicle’s plate turned up 20 violations.
