Rose’s bloomin’ social calendar

-

OUSTED CBS and PBS anchor Charlie Rose continues to be a fixture on New York’s social circuit. After Page Six exclusively reported he had dinner Wednesday with Matt Lauer at one of NYC’s hottest new restaurants, Frenchette, Rose was seen the next night at an Upper East Side birthday party hanging with guests including Woody Allen and billionaire Steve Cohen, and on Friday he was at West Village power spot Il Cantinori for dinner, spies said. Rose was axed from his “CBS This Morning” job and PBS interview show after being accused by eight women of sexual harassment, which he’s denied. He’s reportedly planning a comeback, while at the same time rumors continue about a Washington Post investigation that’s been in the works for months about Rose and CBS. The Hollywood Reporter said in a recent profile that Rose is “hiding out on Long Island” — but over the past week, he’s been doing anything but. Sometimes the results have been awkward, such as when he wandered by a party and screening of a #MeToo short film at an Upper East Side eatery, Page Six reported.
