Crash cop dies

A Paterson, NJ, police officer died after his cruiser hit a parked vehicle Sunday, authorities said.

Officer Tamby Yagan was taken to Saint Joseph’s Regional Medical Center after the crash shortly before 11 a.m., the Passaic County prosecutor’s office said.

He later died there, the office said.
