Kin call for justice

Lavender memorial ribbons fluttered on a gate outside a Queens church Saturday as mourners gathered to say goodbye to a 17-yearold found dead in Kissena Park last week — and demand that his killer is brought to justice.

Inside the Iglesia Pentecostal Unida Hispana church in Corona, a small coterie of family and friends filed past Andy Peralta’s open white casket, still processing the shock of the teen’s homicide.

“I want the person who did this caught,” his father, Edgar Peralta, said with tears in his eyes. “I want justice for my son.”

Daylin Plaza, 16, Andy’s girlfriend, wept aloud as she stood over his casket on what would have been their six-month milestone. A friend told The Post the girl was “absolutely devastated.”

Originally from Ecuador, the Newtown High School sophomore lived in the United States for three years.

Neighbor Lizbeth Carreon, 15, remembered Peralta (inset) as a fun-loving joker who was always dancing.

“He would always make us laugh with his accent and his dances,” she said with a grin. “He had a big heart. He was fun and would always help you out if you needed help with something.”

Peralta’s death was ruled a homicide due to asphyxiation. Cops had few other details. The teen, whose body was found in a marshy area of the park, initially appeared to have suffered severe head trauma.

Peralta was last seen Monday night, when he left home saying he would be right back. A neighbor told the family the teen waited at the corner for someone to meet him. He never returned home.
