Tot-giveaway crash ma bust

- Georgett Roberts

A Queens woman was arrested Thursday in a bizarre hit-and-run crash that ended with her allegedly giving her year-old baby to a stranger, officials said.

Malikah George, 25, was hit with a slew of charges for allegedly racing out of control through Ozone Park Wednesday, crashing her car and then giving the child to a female bystander on the street, along with a note with the name and phone number of the baby’s dad, sources said.

George was put on supervised release after her Queens court hearing. The DA didn’t ask for an order of protection to keep her away from her baby girl, who’s now in the care of Children’s Services.

George (above, Thursday) and her lawyer declined to comment as they left court. They sprinted on Queens Boulevard as reporters shouted out questions.

She was charged with reckless endangerment, endangering the welfare of a child, leaving the scene of an incident and traffic violations, including driving without a license, registration or insurance.

Just before hitting a school fence, George collided with an SUV driven by a man who, she told cops, pulled a gun on her, Assistant DA Barry Pinto said in court.

“It was like cops and robbers. He [he other driver] was the cop and I was the robber,” Pinto quoted George telling police.

Queens DA Richard Brown said, “The defendant . . . apparently panicked after an alleged fender-bender turned into a car chase and the young mother lost control of her vehicle and crashed into a fence.”
