BURN BABY BURN!

It’ll feel like 111° this weekend

Get some cinnamon — ’cause the Big Apple is gonna bake this weekend!

The mercury is set to soar to a scorching 101 degrees on Sunday — but it’s going to feel like an even more excruciating 111, according to experts.

“That will be by far the most oppressive day coming up,” AccuWeather senior meteorologist Dave Dombek told The Post.

That’s partially because there will be so little wind Sunday, Dombek said — explaining that his team of weather oracles also factor in things like cloud cover to gauge the true temperature.

And the heat wave, which kicked off Friday, could last for a full week — with temperatures slated to stay near or above 90 through next Friday.

But if you’re thinking of jetting off somewhere cooler, you may want to think again: The Transportation Security Administration said Friday might have been its busiest airport day ever, with more than 2.7 million air travelers going through screenings.

It predicts some 28 million passengers will have been screened between this past Thursday and next weekend.

Gothamites on Friday were already plotting their stay-cool strategies for the weekend.

“I’m going to a family BBQ in Queens, but I’ll have a cold drink in hand all day,” said Keisha Thomas-Grant, 40, of Brooklyn.

Others are planning on taking advantage of the city’s public pools, which reopened for the season just in time Wednesday.

“Go in the pool, eat ice cream and frosties,” advised Juan Ayala, 34, a network engineer who works in Manhattan. “Just stay indoors if you can.” But some plan on hustling in the heat to earn some cool cash.

“I’m going to sell more ice cream,” said Luz Ramos, 32, of The Bronx, who works at the Catch the Flava ice cream stand at 84th Street and East End Avenue on the Upper East Side. “I’m gonna be happy.”
