Summer’s hottest invites

- Emily Smith esmith@nypost.com

THE allegiances of some top socialites, stars and fashionistas may have been torn when invitations for two of the summer’s hottest affairs arrived with the same date.

Anna Wintour’s daughter, Bee Shaffer, will marry photographer Francesco Carroz

zini at the Vogue editor-in-chief’s Long Island home on July 7.

But on the same day, top party planner Bronson van Wyck — whose client list has

included Beyoncé, Madonna, Calvin Klein, Gwyneth Paltrow and three US presidents — is putting together perhaps the party of the summer, to celebrate his birthday in Mykonos, Greece, which an invitation describes as a “Homeric Ball.”

Page Six reported that Shaffer recently held her bachelorette party in Tulum, Mexico, with pals including Selby Drummond, Sara

Moonves and Nell Diamond. According to the couple’s registry online, they are still in need of a few items, including an eight-inch chef’s knife for $259.95.

At the same time, van Wyck’s bash requires costumes in the categories of “Greeks & Trojans,” “Amazons & Argives,” “Mad Max Maenads” or simply . . . “Birthday Suits.”

A video invitation for the sure-to-be-overthe-top fête urges guests to “reveal yourself” and “be epic,” along with a mashup of clips from mythical movies including “Clash of the Titans,” “Wonder Woman,” the Brad Pitt film “Troy” and “300.” Also suggested in an e-mail to guests were “beach reads” including not-solight fare “The Iliad” and “The Odyssey.”

Model Emily Ratajkowski has already been seen on the Greek island, though it’s unclear if she’s on the guest list.

Meanwhile, those who didn’t land invites to either of the shindigs might consider trying to nab one to Lindsay Lohan’s upcoming birthday. We hear that guests including Dina

Lohan and Jill Zarin will head to Lohan’s new Mykonos beach club to celebrate the star’s 32nd birthday.
