Red Sox television analyst Jerry Remy is again battling cancer. NESN announced Remy’s latest diagnosis, saying “at this time, Jerry’s focus is on his medical treatment,” without providing details. The 65-year-old was diagnosed with lung cancer in 2008, relapsed in 2013 and twice in 2017.

Dodgers shortstop Corey Seager had arthroscop­ic surgery on his left hip, following Tommy John surgery in May. He is expected to be set for spring training.
