Weird BUT true

Russian feminists’ gripes about an ad mocking flatchested women has fallen flat.

The Federal Antimonopoly Service, an advertising watchdog, rejected claims that the image of a woman measuring her small boobs to tout small prices was offensively sexist.

But, maybe making matters worse, the agency faulted the ad for mocking “physical defects in women (small breasts).” Freeze! Two Long Beach, Calif., drug dealers were busted for selling weed and meth from their ice-cream truck, police said.

The truck, plastered with images of ice-cream sandwiches and popsicles was a front, said cops — who tossed suspects Monti Ware, 41, and George Williams, 57, in the cooler.

Forget about hip cats — sharks are the ones that love jazz, new research shows.

Scientists at Australia’s Macquarie University Fish Lab who trained five sharks to swim to the end of a tank for a treat when a jazzy jam was played were snubbed when classical music or rock was played.

Neighbors weren’t calling this Aussie granny for recipes or knitting patterns.

They called Faye Morgan, 81, of Brisbane, for help removing two massive pythons from their barbecue grill. And, sure enough, Morgan grabbed the snakes by their necks and put them in a box for authorities.

“I’m not scared, I love it,” said Morgan, who grew up on a farm.

Experts are developing high-tech robot strawberry pickers — pushing the buttons of farmhands who fear they’ll be replaced.

A gadget prototype, created by University of Essex computer scientists, will likely be unveiled in a few months.

Developer Vishuu Mohansaid he hopes the bots will one day work alongside humans on farms to reduce production costs.
