CURBIN’ WARFARE OF FIRE

She runs a health magazine, yet managed to tick off every cyclist in Park Slope.

The editor-in-chief of Women’s Health legally parked her Subaru and took off for vacation — but the street got a new bike lane the next day and her car became a target for angry riders who assumed she blocked the path out of protest.

“A--hole!” one cyclist wrote on a pink Post-it note slapped on the Forester.

Another note fumed that she deserves, “a ticket and a boot!”

Liz Plosser’s car troubles began Thursday morning, when she stowed her ride on Ninth Street near Eighth Avenue and left for a a weeklong trip, she wrote in a since-deleted Instagram post.

On Friday, the city moved a bike lane from outside the parked cars to the curbside — and slapped a fresh coat of paint around her ride.

Furious cyclists assumed the parking job was in defiance, especially when they saw a note defending the driver on the rear window.

“This car predates the bike lane. It was parked here before the city put in the lane (check the paint),” the note declared. “Please be understanding.”

Bike boosters took them as fighting words — and struck back by covering the car with nasty notes and cigarette butts.

Christian Perez, a 22-year-old cyclist from the hood called it just plain dangerous.

“It’s a real d-ck move to do this,” he said. “I almost got clipped by a car door going around the car. It’s not safe.”

But Plossman — whose notedotted car was towed away by the NYPD Tuesday afternoon — said in her post the city gave her no warning about the project.

“Our sweet Subaru has become a community board for neighborhood messages, with grumpy cyclists sounding off, and empathetic passersby showing support,” she added.

The DOT said it posted signs warning drivers not to park on the street before the lane was painted Friday.

And other neighbors pointed out Plosser still would have been ticketed for alternate-side parking violations.

Plossman, who plans to return from vacation Saturday, was hit with at least one parking ticket.
