Mogul & model together again

REUNITED, and it feels so good for Italian businessman and ambassador Paolo Zampolli and his paramour of more a decade, Brazilian beauty Amanda Ungaro (below, right).

Zampolli — who introduced Melania to Donald Trump when the first lady was one of his ID models — was distraught when Ungaro moved out of their Gramercy Park townhouse in January with their son, Giovanni, 8. But now the boy has been able to get them back together. Ungaro was with Zampolli at the UN last week, where Trump was videotaped deep in con- versation with Zampolli, the Trump Organization’s former director of international development.

Zampolli, whose family made its fortune selling “Star Wars” toys in Italy, told me, “That’s why we are back together. Our son kept repeating, ‘The president said Papi and Mama always should be together.’

“Amanda, an amazing mother, realized our son wanted a unified family — not court.”

Although the couple never married, during the split Ungaro went after Zampolli for child support. Zampolli was so concerned that Ungaro would move back to Brazil with their son that he spoke to authorities in an attempt to ensure she would be flagged if she attempted to board a plane taking Giovanni out of the country.

Zampolli and Ungaro would like to enjoy their romantic reunion without engaging in any more court proceedings. My source says the child-custody case racked up more than $300,000 in legal fees, which have not yet been paid. Ungaro could not be reached for comment, but her lawyer said, “No comment.”
