Stormy must pay prez

- Tamar Lapin

A federal judge on Monday tossed Stormy Daniels’ defamation lawsuit against President Trump — and ordered the porn star to pay his legal fees.

The case stemmed from a Trump tweet calling a composite sketch of a man Daniels claims threatened her to keep quiet about their alleged affair “a total con job.”

Trump has denied the affair.

Los Angeles Judge S. James Otero said Trump’s tweet is protected by the First Amendment.

“The tweet in question constitutes ‘rhetorical hyperbole’ normally associated with politics and public discourse in the U.S.,” the ruling reads.

Daniels’ lawyer, Michael Avenatti, said he planned to appeal.

Otero also agreed Daniels hadn’t proven Trump acted with malice.

The ruling does not affect another Daniels suit against Trump and his former lawyer Michael Cohen, seeking to invalidate her 2016 nondisclosure agreement in which she was paid $130,000.
