Tony ’burb trails close

The man who knows New York

- Richard Johnson

BOMBING suspect Ce

sar Sayoc is behind bars, but the threat he allegedly posed to George Soros has led to the closure of the horse trails surrounding Soros’ Two Ponds Farm in Westchester.

The Bedford Riding Lanes Association alerted its members last week: “Effective immediately we are closing the trails surrounding Two Ponds Farm and Cantitoe Farm. These trails are closed to all rid-

ers and walkers until further notice.”

Cantitoe Farm, which belongs to Martha Stew

art, is next door to the Soros estate, near the properties of Ralph Lauren, Bruce Willis and Ryan Reynolds and wife Blake Lively.

Property owners in horse-friendly Bedford traditionally allow riders and hikers to cross their land.

That changed last Monday, when a package containing a pipe bomb was delivered to Soros’ farm.

Similar packages thought to contain bombs were sent to Barack Obama, Hil-

lary Clinton, Sen. Cory Booker, James R. Clapper Jr., Sen. Kamala Harris, Eric Holder, Rep. Maxine Waters and Robert De Niro.

Soros, who survived the Nazi occupation of Hungary, donates generously to Democratic candidates, and has given more than $32 billion to his Open Society Foundations around the world.

His activism has made him a target of conspiracy theorists, and some have recently accused Soros of funding the migrant caravan heading north through Mexico.

Soros had no comment.
