The Great NYC Bloviator Got What’s Coming to Him
THE ISSUE: “Saturday Night Live” star Alec Baldwin’s arrest for punching a motorist over a parking spot.
Nothing made me happier on my Saturday morning than to see Alec Baldwin being arrested, bully that he is (“Livid! From New York! It’s Alec Brawldwin,” Nov. 3).
He should’ve been called out by his liberal cronies a long time ago, but instead, he put on a wig and made fun of the president, which was his claim to fame for over two years. He couldn’t shine President Trump’s shoes. Donna Orosz New Hyde Park
Raise your glasses, fellow New Yorkers, and toast Alec Baldwin — the gift that keeps on giving. Jake McNicholas Whitestone
I enjoy all the sections of The Post, but Page Six was missing a “sighting”: Alec Baldwin in the holding cage of the NYPD’s 6th Precinct. Billy Rath Wall, NJ
For Alec, this seems to be a repeat offense. A desk appearance ticket was an act of charity. Peter J. Peirano Ridgewood, NJ
First, he belittles two of New York’s Finest, then he punches a man over a parking spot. Enough already, Alec, you clown. Tony DeFrancesco Skippack, Penn.
Here we go again. Baldwin takes a brief respite from castigating and mocking and fingerpointing to put on yet another public display of an irrational and violent temper. This latest demonstration carries with it all the Baldwin hallmarks we’ve grown to loathe, including, but not limited to, a hair-trigger temper, an overblown sense of entitlement and what, so far, appears to be a stack of “get out of jail free” cards.
Isn’t it time this repeat offender is dealt with accordingly and our streets are returned to the lawabiding citizens of this fair city? John W. Irvington Manhattan
Baldwin is an out-ofcontrol maniac. He should be barred from “Saturday Night Live.” Ron Zajicek Cortlandt Manor
I wasn’t there, I didn’t see it, but someone should tell Alec Baldwin and his associates that you can’t save a parking space. Period, over and out. Nancy Brenner Manhattan
The inability to recognize the rights of others, coupled with a grandiose sense of self-worth and lack of guilt or remorse, are the traits of a sociopath. These traits pretty much describe the personality of Alec Baldwin. His sense of entitlement and elitism make him an excellent spokesperson for his favored political party. I wonder if any candidates will be calling for an endorsement in the upcoming election. Robert C. Mangi Westbury
How great would it be if Saturday Night Live invited President Trump on as guest host and every skit that night would be the president playing the part of Alec Baldwin in all of his fits of rage, outbursts and subsequent arrests? He might be back on a newspaper cover two weeks in a row. Kevin O’Donnell Budd Lake , NJ
Apparently, Alec Baldwin thinks he’s a hot shot and above the law. But his pugnacious behavior puts him in the same category as any common criminal. Even though he may feel a sense of entitlement because he’s an actor, any parking spot on the street is fair game.
Striking another human being is barbaric. We’re supposed to be living in a civil society. JoAnn Lee Frank Clearwater, Fla.
Baldwin’s violence highlights an issue that the city should have dealt with years ago: Available parking spaces “belong” to the first motorist who finds them. Pedestrians “saving” open spaces should be subject to a summons and fine.
This is far from an isolated incident of violence over what should be a codified illegal action. Peter Kelly Yonkers
