Chrysler ‘retains’ law firm

Moses & Singer commits to 15-year stay

THE law firm of Moses & Singer has scrapped its current lease that went another two and a half years and signed a new 15-year deal to remain in the Chrysler Building at 405 Lexington Ave. on the corner of East 42nd Street.

The 73,485-square-foot lease will also allow for the modernizat­ion and redesign of the 12th and 13th floors it occupies.

Michael T. Cohen, Robert Tunis, Eric Ferriello and Jessica Verdi of Colliers Internatio­nal represente­d the tenant and will be the project manager on the redesign of the space.

The landmark was represente­d by a Tishman Speyer team. Asking rents in the base of the building were around $65 per square foot.

Online luxury-goods hub Farfetch.com is getting a brick-and-mortar office.

The London-based company has signed a 10-year lease for 14,875 square feet comprising the entire 23rd floor in the tower of 285 Madison Ave. on the corner of East 40th Street.

Farfetch, founded by José Neves in 2007, launched an $855 million initial public offering in September 2017.

It now represents more than 3,500 brands and ships clothing and jewelry to 190 countries.

Bill Peters, Josh Stuart and Christian Allen of JLL represente­d the tenant.

In another deal at the building, the financial tech firm LiquidX signed a 7,813square-foot lease for a prebuilt on part of the 14th floor.

Led by CEO James Toffey, LiquidX is an electronic marketplac­e for exchanging trade finance assets such as receivable­s, payables and letters of credit at what is now a clip of $800 million per month. It recently opened its platform to new markets by completing a Sharia-compliant transactio­n.

Matthew McBride of CBRE represente­d LiquidX, which is located on the 30th floor of nearby 100 Park Ave.

The RFR Realty-owned building was represente­d in both deals by AJ Camhi and Ryan Silverman in-house along with a JLL team of Al- exander Chudnoff, Mitchell Konsker, Dan Turkewitz and Diana Biasotti.

In a $65 million 2013 upgrade, RFR created a stunning white lobby, planted roof-deck, fitness center, event space, fitness facility and a bike room.

Asking rents on two remaining pre-builts range from $77 to $82 per square foot.

The e-tailer Brideside has just opened a Manhattan showroom flagship so brides-to-be and their best friends can touch and feel the fabrics and try on the dresses.

Located in the Flatiron District between Broadway and Park Avenue South, the 2,400-square-foot groundfloo­r space at 20 E. 20th St. has an additional 500 square feet in the lower level.

Justin Fantasia and Carly Geller of RKF represente­d Brideside, which previously had a mini-shop inside Lord & Taylor.

The 25-foot-wide interior, which includes a green wall overflowin­g with flowers and pink neon hearts for Instagram moments, was created by Gala Magriña Design.

The former tenant, the tutu maker Chacott, was represente­d in the five-year sublease by Cushman & Wakefield’s Andrew Kahn and Christian Stanton. The space is owned by a shareholde­r in the building’s co-op.

The nationwide medical facility EHE is relocating its offices and clinic from 10 Rockefelle­r Plaza to another Rock Center building at 600 Fifth Ave. The transactio­n allows EHE (Engaging Healthy Employees) to end its 47,000square-foot lease early and expand to 66,000 square feet iin the neighborin­g spot. Brad Wolk and Erik Schmall of Savills Studley represente­d EHE while Rock Center was represente­d by an inhouse Tishman Speyer team. The current fourth-floor EHE space will be absorbed by an expansion of the First Republic Bank as The Post revealed to you in May of this year.
