No, no Nancy

-

Sixteen rebellious House Democrats, including four New Yorkers, released their long-awaited letter Monday saying they will oppose Nancy Pelosi as speaker.

The group called Pelosi a “historic figure” who ushered in important legislative achievements, but vowed not to vote for her in the Jan. 3 leadership elections.

She needs 218 votes. Democrats won at least 233 seats.

The New Yorkers are Long Island’s Kathleen Rice, Max Rose of Staten Island, Buffalo’s Brian Higgins and Anthony Brindisi, who is leading GOP incumbent Claudia Tenney in upstate’s 22nd District.
