Corey admits to WH fight

- Nikki Schwab

Former Trump campaign manager Corey Lewandowski admitted Sunday that he got into a heated argument with White House Chief of Staff John Kelly.

“Well, the Secret Service didn’t break anything up,” Lewandowski told “Fox News Sunday.” “John and I had a very candid discussion, as he probably has many times with the president.”

Lewandowski was promoting his book written with David Bossie, “Trump Enemies: How the Deep State is Undermining the Presidency,” which claims government officials are working against Trump’s political agenda.

He was asked directly whether Kelly grabbed him, as The New York Times reported last month.

“I don’t want to get into what John may or may not have done, but what I do think is he understands that my position is to support the president and the president’s agenda all the time,” Lewandowski replied.

The newspaper reported that the “near brawl” happened in February and that Kelly wanted Lewandowski removed from the West Wing.

In the book, out Tuesday, Lewandowski and Bossie call out the media, Democrats, some “never Trump” Republicans and current and former White House staffers for opposing Trump.

They call people like former White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer members of the “November 9th Club” who became Trump supporters only once he won the White House.
