Schumer in sad sibling rift

-

FAME can be tough. It appears that Amy Schumer may be struggling with another close relationship — this time, with her brother.

Page Six reported in April that Schumer’s relationship with her longtime manager and BFF Carrie Byalick blew up after Schumer started dating Byalick’s ex-boyfriend, who is now Schumer’s husband. (At the time, Byalick denied their love lives had anything to do with her no longer representing Schumer.)

Now, a tipster points out the suspicious absence of Schumer’s brother, Jason Stein, from her social media.

The apparent schism is particularly shocking since Stein and Schumer were extremely close.

As well as being siblings, Schumer and Stein also worked together, with jazz musician Stein opening for Schumer on the road.

Heartbreakingly, Schumer was also close with Stein’s daughter, plastering her social media with pictures of the little girl, and even dedicating two of her specials to her.

There’s now no sign of either relative on the “Trainwreck” star’s feeds, and Stein and Schumer have stopped following each other on Instagram. Schumer last mentioned Stein online more than a year ago.

Stein is Schumer’s elder half brother (they share a mother), and they grew up together.

Stein and his daughter also didn’t appear in any of the published photos from Schumer’s wedding to Chris Fischer in February.

Stein didn’t get back to us after multiple requests for comment. Reps for Schumer declined to comment.

Schumer used to publicly sing her brother’s praises. In 2016, she told Vogue of her siblings, “Luckily they’re talented . . . Because it could have been horrible. But to be able to take your brother and sister [ Kim Caramele, who is Schumer’s writing partner] with you? It’s the best. There’s no class distinction between the three of us. When I started making a bunch of money, basically they did too.”
