Weird BUT true

A fast-food chain is welcoming your best friend to dine with you.

For a limited time, Burger King is adding a dogfriendly Whopper — the Dogpper — to its menu for customers who have their food delivered.

The company says it will cheer up patrons who might have no one but Fido to dine with.

This chimpanzee wants no part of any monkey business.

An honest chimp at a Chinese zoo saw a cage-mate steal a selfie stick from a kid who pushed it too close to the bars.

The crime-fighting simian took the stick from the perp and handed it back to the youngster.

On the subject of honesty: Hunter Shamatt of South Dakota misplaced his wallet flying to Las Vegas for his sister’s wedding.

He hit the jackpot when a stranger sent him a package with the wallet. It had $60 in cash in it when it was lost — now it held an extra $40.

It came with a note from its finder saying, “I rounded up your cash to an even $100 so you could celebrate having your wallet back. Have fun.’’

It was an “L’’ of a mistake. A package sent to an Australian man was delivered to Austria five times before it finally reached its destination Down Under.

Austrian postal workers were so annoyed, one of them scrawled “AGAIN’’ after it was stamped “Missent to Austria’’ for the last time.

How’s this for a vacation: Over the last four years, some South Koreans have paid $90 for a 24-hour stay in solitary confinement in a fake prison.

So many of the country’s workers and students are under such pressure from their employers and professors, their fake prison stays provide them with a “sense of freedom,’’ according to the group that runs the faux jail.

Since its opening in 2013, the prison has welcomed about 2,000 “inmates.’’
