Jump on Warriors again in another revenge spot

- By JONATHAN VON TOBEL Jonathan Von Tobel cohosts VSiN’s “Betting Across America” from Atlantic City on Saturdays (10 a.m.-noon) and Sundays (10 a.m.-1 p.m.) on VSiN.com, fuboTV and SiriusXM 204.

The revenge tour for Golden State continues at home Wednesday night when the Toronto Raptors head to Oracle Arena. Last week on VSiN, we pinpointed the Warriors’ contest against Milwaukee as a spot to back Golden State. The defending champions would be keen to play the Bucks after they had dismantled the Warriors at home about a month prior.

Sure enough, Golden State held the NBA’s top scoring offense to just 95 points on 39 percent shooting and won the game. It should be a similar situation here for the Warriors.

Just two weeks ago, the Warriors lost in overtime in Toronto, 131-128, as a 9¹/2-point underdog. Golden State did not have either Steph Curry or Draymond Green in the lineup, yet pushed the Raptors to the brink on their home floor. To make matters even better for the Warriors, Green returned from injury Monday night against Minnesota, and should be on the floor for this contest.

It’s a less than favorable scheduling spot for the Raptors, as well. This will be the second game of a back-to-back, and the third game in four nights. The competition is toptier, as the Raptors will have faced the Bucks, Clippers and Warriors over this three-game stretch. With the Raptors stuck in an unfavorable scheduling spot, and Golden State fully healthy, Wednesday night looks like another in which to back the Warriors.

THE PLAY: Warriors.
