CAA leader Hofstra falls at NC-Wilm.

Devontae Cacok had 18 points and 16 rebounds as UNC-Wilmington, which started the day in last place in the Colonial Athletic Associatio­n, knocked off visiting conference leader Hofstra, 87-79, Saturday night.

Justin Wright-Foreman scored 30 points, Eli Pemberton had 22 and Desure Buie added 15 for the Pride (12-2, 22-5), who had a three-game winning streak end. The Pride had a 16-game win streak earlier this season which included a 15-point win over UNCW on Jan. 17.

Ty Gadsden added 17 points for the Seahawks (9-10, 5-10).

Fordham 66, Rhode Island 63

In Kingston, R.I., Nick Honor made a 3-pointer with 48 seconds left in overtime to give Fordham (11-14, 2-10 Atlantic 10) the victory over Rhode Island (12-12, 5-7).

After Honor’s shot, Rhode Island missed four 3-point tries, Honor and Chuba Ohams led Fordham with 19 points apiece.

LIU 92, Sacred Heart 84

Ty Flowers and Raiquan Clark scored 24 points apiece as LIU Brooklyn (12-14, 6-8 NEC) defeated visiting Sacred Heart (12-15, 8-6). Koreem Ozier had 23 points to lead the Pioneers.

St. Francis 90, CCSU 79

Glenn Sanabria had a seasonhigh 25 points, Rosel Hurley added 20 points and St. Francis Brooklyn (16-11, 8-6 NEC) defeated Central Connecticu­t (11-16, 5-9). The Terriers had a seasonhigh 58 points in the second half. Wagner 58, Mount St. Mary’s 56

In Emmitsburg, Md., Romone Saunders, who finished with 12 points, drove the length of the court and scored as time ran out to give Wagner (13-12, 8-6 NEC) the win over Mount St. Mary’s (7-20, 4-10).

Stony Brook 66, New Hamp. 64

In Durham, N.H., Andrew Garcia had 15 points and 10 rebounds off the bench and Akwasi Yeboah added 15 points to lift Stony Brook (21-5, 9-2 America East) over New Hampshire (3-22, 1-11).

Fairleigh Dickinson 97, Bryant 84

In Teaneck, N.J., Darnell Edge had a career-high 32 points — hitting seven of eight 3-pointers — and Fairleigh Dickinson (13-13, 8-6 NEC) topped Bryant (8-17, 5-9).
