He’s a walking country song! Songbird Miranda Lambert’s hunky new NYPD husband not only dumped the mother of his newborn son to marry the country star — he got the woman pregnant while he was engaged to marry another woman, according to reports.
Months before NYPD heartthrob Brendan McLoughlin married into country-music royalty, he was engaged to fellow Staten Islander Jackie Bruno — but allegedly two-timing her with another woman, Bruno’s seething mom told Radar Online.
“She was engaged to Brendan, and he cheated on her and got another girl pregnant,” Carol Bruno told the gossip site.
Worse, Bruno said, was that her pro-athlete daughter learned of the betrayal directly from her romantic rival.
“Jackie was in Sweden playing professional soccer, got injured and came home and the girl contacted her,” Carol Bruno told Radar. “She broke the news to her.
“[Brendan] tried to deny it and then begged her to stay with him,” Bruno claimed. “He was begging her to marry him before she left [to return to Europe], even though she knew the girl was pregnant.”
That woman, Kaihla Rettinger, gave birth to the model-turned-Midtown South cop’s son on Nov. 5, Radar reported — three days after McLoughlin, 27, met Lambert, 35, while she was performing on “Good Morning America,” which films in his precinct.
It’s unclear exactly when McLoughlin took up with Lambert — and when he and Rettinger split — but the Grammy winner turned heads over Valentine’s Day weekend by abruptly announcing her nuptials on Instagram.
Though Carol Bruno called the lothario-lawman a “phony” in her Radar interview, her daughter said Tuesday she was eager to move on.
“It’s completely irrelevant to me,” Jackie Bruno told The Post when asked about McLoughlin’s settling down with Lambert. “I couldn’t care less. I have 100 percent moved on.”
McLoughlin could not be reached for comment Tuesday.
Nor could Rettinger, though her uncle, Glen, speaking from a family home on Long Island, dismissed the baby-mama drama as “nonsense.”
Reps for the once-divorced Lambert — who was reportedly involved with fellow country singer Evan Felker over the past summer after he too allegedly left his wife for her — did not immediately return requests for comment.
