Terror vic’s mom: Hoda must pay

The mother of slain American photojournalist James Foley — who was beheaded by Islamic State barbarians — says that the Alabama ISIS bride now begging to come home should be “brought to justice.”

Hoda Muthana “and the many thousands of ISIS fighters who have promoted terrorism need to be held accountable and brought to justice,” Foley’s mom, Diana Foley, told “Your World” on Fox News Tuesday. “I feel that is vital.”

Muthana joined ISIS in 2014, the same year freelance war correspondent James Foley (inset), 40, was executed by ISIS terrorists in Syria two years after being abducted.

Diana Foley expressed some compassion for Muthana, 24, who fled her home in Hoover to join the terror group in Syria, where she married three ISIS fighters.

Several weeks ago, Muthana — who urged Twitter followers to commit massacres at parades back home — fled ISIS’s last stronghold with her 18-month-old son and was captured by Kurdish forces who brought her to a refugee camp.

“Certainly, as a Christian we all make mistakes and need to consider forgiveness, particularly for her young child, who needs to be protected and raised,” Foley said. However, she added, “She needs to be held accountable for her mistakes and monitored very carefully.

“She spent four years of her life being brainwashed in this horrific ideology of hatred, and she’s tried to incite more and more violence on her countrymen,” Foley said.

In an interview published by The Guardian this week, Muthana claimed she was “brainwashed” as a teen and made “a big mistake” as she pleaded for US officials to let her return home.
