TRUMP BLASTS CONWAY HUB

Kellyanne gets caught in the middle of feud

- By MARK MOORE

President Trump on Tuesday lashed out at White House counselor Kellyanne Conway’s husband a day after George Conway questioned Trump’s mental fitness.

“A total loser!” Trump wrote about George.

The president was responding to a tweet by his 2020 campaign manager, Brad Parscale, that claimed George Conway, an attorney, was upset because Trump once turned him down for a job.

“Now he hurts his wife because he is jealous of her success. POTUS doesn’t even know him!” Parscale wrote on Monday.

But George Conway said he has known Trump for a decade.

He also said he keeps tweeting about the president to let off steam before his wife gets home and he takes out his frustrations on her.

“The mendacity, the incompetence, it’s just maddening to watch,” he told The Washington Post. “The tweeting is just the way to get it out of the way so I can get it off my chest and move on with my life that day. That’s basically it. Frankly, it’s so I don’t end up screaming at her about it.”

Kellyanne Conway (left) didn’t respond to requests for comment Tuesday. But on Monday, she told reporters she doesn’t share her husband’s concerns about her boss.

Moments after Trump’s attack on Tuesday, George Conway (right) punched back.

“Congratulations! You just guaranteed that millions of more people are going to learn about narcissistic personality disorder and malignant narcissism! Great job!” he tweeted in reference to Trump’s

59 million Twitter followers.

“Tell us, @realDonaldTrump - which of these diagnostic criteria do you not satisfy?” he said in another tweet, linking to an image showing the symptoms of narcissistic personality disorder.

George Conway — a lifelong Republican until he changed to “unaffiliated” last year — also linked to an April 2017 article in Rolling Stone that said Trump’s behavior over the years showed symptoms of narcissistic personality disorder.

“This was the article that first got me to really understand you . . . and why you’re unfit and incompetent for the es- teemed office you temporarily hold,” he tweeted.

The Washington Post published a letter from April 2006 in which Trump lauded George Conway for helping settle a dispute at one of Trump’s Manhattan high-rises.

“What I was most impressed with was how quickly you were able to comprehend a very bad situation,” Trump said in the letter. “PS - And, you have a truly great voice, certainly not a bad asset for a top trial lawyer!”

George Conway trolled Trump after the president tweeted or retweeted more than 50 times over the weekend.
