Li’l bagel brawler signs on to box
Get ready for some low blows. “Bagel Boss Guy” Chris Morgan, 45 — the diminutive Long Island deli customer who became a target of viral scorn after being tackled by a fellow nosher for aggressively ranting about his dating struggles at the shop — has now signed up for a celebrity boxing match, according to TMZ.
The 5-foot-nothing star of Bagel Boss meltdown fame spoke to the site after signing a contract with fighting promoter Damon Feldman to step into the ring in Atlantic City on Sept. 7.
“I don’t need no training, I’m prepared,” the pugilist wannabe said about the bout, which is likely to be quite short.
The promoter said there is a “possibility” Morgan will fight Antoine Dodson — another viral-video star known for his response to an Alabama home intruder in 2010.
“I’m just naturally tough — I’ll whoop his ass,” Morgan bragged. “If he thinks he’s gonna win, fuggedaboutit!”
The bloviating bagel-store brawler could actually be right. Dodson’s record is not promising, with video of an earlier celebrity match showing him going down easy after a body shot from a far shorter opponent.
There’s a chance Morgan could stand to make anywhere from five to six figures from the contest, depending on ticket sales and online streaming numbers, the gossip outlet reported.
Saying that his strength is “getting possessed,” Morgan showed off a onetwo combination for TMZ’s camera.
“Sit back and wait,” he said, going into a pretend rant.
Morgan’s viral star rose after his wild rant about being discriminated against by women because of his height, lashing out at a female customer before he was tackled by a larger man in the store.
“Everywhere I go I get the same f-king smirk with the biting lip,” he shouted in the popular video clip.
Other meltdowns of him raging at 7-Eleven workers, law enforcement and neighbors over his insecurities about his 5-foot stature later emerged.
The cleaning-business owner lives in a 2008 Chrysler Town & Country minivan/mobile home in the parking lot of Nino’s Deli in Bay Shore.
He previously told The Post his outrage was sparked when female workers allegedly giggled at him.
“It’s about belittlement, what she was doing! Giggling, all this crap!” said Morgan, who is divorced.
“Being used by women, going on dates, they lie, say they like me and then use me for my money!”
