Epstein pal raped me in ’80s: model

- Lee Brown

A former model has accused modeling agent JeanLuc Brunel of raping her more than 30 years ago — saying she came forward to police only after seeing he was linked to Jeffrey Epstein.

The unidentified Canadian woman alleged in an interview with CBS News that Brunel — who has been accused of scouting girls for Epstein — spiked her drink in his Paris apartment after a night out clubbing in 1987.

“‘Do you want a drink’ and I said, ‘Sure, why not,’ ” the woman claimed Brunel asked.

“Then I don’t remember anything. He had drugged my drink,” she said. “The next thing I remember was waking up in his bed.

“He was sleeping and I was naked. And I was wondering how I got there.

“I remember sliding out of the bed and doing everything to just not wake him up,” she added, saying she “crawled around on the floor” to found her clothes without alerting her alleged attacker that she was leaving.

“I know I was raped. I know that,” insisted the accuser, who is now in her 50s and still lives in Paris.

The woman said she immediately told her friend everything she could remember — but did not go to police.

She was finally compelled to come forward after seeing that Brunel was linked to Epstein, and she gave a signed affidavit of her allegations to French police on Oct. 1, saying she wants to be heard even though no criminal case can be filed due to the French statute of limitations.

Brunel — credited with discovering supermodels like Christy Turlington and Milla Jovovich — was known as a frequent companion of the late pedophile, and is believed to currently be in Brazil.

He has denied allegations of sexual misconduct against him, with his lawyer, Corinne Dreyfus-Schmidt, also insisting he “is not on the run” and is “at the disposal of the authorities.”
