A teen pervert was arrested Monday for allegedly sexually assaulting a female Rutgers student as she slept in her campus dorm on Sunday, police said.

The 17-year-old suspect, a South Brunswick highschool student, was slapped with aggravated sexual contact and burglary charges after he sneaked into the woman’s room at around 7:40 a.m. and assaulted her while she was asleep, Middlesex

County prosecutors said.

The arrest came after another Rutgers student told The Post a similarlooking creep broke into his room in the middle of the night just days earlier.

“This isn’t the first time this guy has been here,” said the student, who didn’t want to be named.

“Just the other day I woke up at like 3 in the morning to my roommate screaming at the exact same guy to get out of our room. We called the police too,” he said.

Students at the Piscataway campus said police had shown them photographs of a suspect who matched the description of a local high school student who was often seen lurking around the school, and who had a history of breaking into the dorms.

Freshman Emmanuel Azuonwu said Rutgers students had reported the teen to higher-ups at the college, but that officials did nothing to ban him from campus.

“He barged into my room before without knocking and thank God my roommate was there,” Azuonwu said.

A Rutgers University spokesperson would not answer questions about the incident, citing the investigation.

Female students criticized the university in the wake of the assault — saying they carried pepper spray because they didn’t feel safe.

“It is scary to think about,” freshman LeeAnn Rego said. “This campus needs more security.”
