Back Zack to whack Nats

Never say never. Philippe Reines, trusted adviser to the Clintons, told Fox News that Hillary has not ruled out a 2020 presidential run. No official word expected until the end of the year. In the meantime, get your popcorn ready and your emails deleted.

Clarity. The Nationals and Astros clearly know what they have to do. If the Nats can win two of three at home, the victory parade will be next week. If the Astros can win two of three they can send the series back to Houston. Washington, up 2-0 in the World Series, has won eight games in a row. Solid pitching and contributions up and down the lineup have proved to be a deadly mix for the Dodgers, Cards and now the Astros. Game 3 starter Anibal Sanchez flirted with a no-hitter in St. Louis. He left after allowing just one run over 7 2/3 innings and his ERA reads 0.71 over 12 2/3 this postseason. Houston? Can’t hit. Jose Altuve has produced. But Carlos Correa (.160), Alex Bregman (.233), Yuli Gurriel (.231) haven’t. George Springer has three home runs, but is batting .167. They need to step up, and so does Zack Greinke, whose playoff numbers read 0-2 with a 6.43 ERA. Astros are desperate and so are we. 20 units on Houston.

Wait, we did what? We took SMU at -500 on the road Thursday night? It’s fair to say we will not be doing that again. Risked 500 nagurskis to make 100 nitschkes and walked away a lucky winner. SMU is 8-0 after surviving Houston 34-31. Victory takes us to -735 dickersons.
