Harvey heckle reply: Take 2

-

THE producer of the event that ejected an actor protesting Harvey Weinstein’s presence there has issued a second statement on the debacle.

On Wednesday, Actors Hour booted Zoe Stuckless (who uses the pronoun “they”) after they loudly confronted the disgraced mogul — who was a guest at the artsy event — calling him “a rapist.”

The show is run by Alexandra Laliberte, who has erased her initial statement — in which she claimed Weinstein wasn’t invited — and posted a new one on Instagram, admitting Weinstein had been at a previous show.

Laliberte said, “I was not prepared to handle such a high-energy situation,” adding that she was “deeply saddened that this was not only triggering for some attendees, but that they ultimately felt unsafe — some even outraged.”

Actor Stuckless was filmed confronting the disgraced producer, yelling, “I’m going to stand 4 feet from a f - - king rapist? And nobody’s going to say anything?” Stuckless was escorted out.

Laliberte claims in her second statement she was unsure if Stuckless was “beginning a performance or monologue,” and that they “should not have been encouraged to leave.”

“I should have shut down the event or given [Stuckless] the microphone to vocalize [their] feelings, but I was in total shock and I let my fear and inexperience paralyze my decision making,” she wrote.

Comic Amber Rollo said she also confronted Weinstein — and was also kicked out.

“I went in and called him a f--king monster and told him he should disappear,” she tweeted. “His friend/bodyguard/goon/family member called me ac--t ... There was a woman at the table with him who gently guided me out.”

A spokesperson for Weinstein said a Weinstein employee did not use the C-word.

Comic Kelly Bachman addressed Weinstein’s presence during her stand-up set and was booed. “I didn’t know that we have to bring our own Mace and rape whistles to Actors Hour,” she said, with one male attendee yelling, “Shut up.”
