High-end ‘bag’-men ‘burglars’

140G Vuitton, Gucci heist

Police on Tuesday released images of the four men suspected of swiping $140,000 in luxury handbags and jewelry from mall CEO Don Ghermezian’s Bronx mansion.

New footage released by the NYPD late Monday shows the burglars walking down a street (above) in the high-end Riverdale neighborho­od.

The thieves smashed a window on a rear balcony door to Ghermezian’s multimilli­on-dollar Grosvenor Avenue mansion at around 5:15 p.m. Saturday while the sprawling, 11,000-square-foot mansion was unoccupied.

Cops also have camera footage of the quartet entering the home and leaving with the stolen goods, according to police.

Ghermezian­n (at right) told cops thehe thieves had made offff with 30 Louis Vuitton,on, Gucci and St. Laurentren­t bags, valued at a total of $100,000.

The burglarsgl­ars also snatched a pairair of pricey Cortina watches,hes, both worth about $10,000 a pop — as well as $20,000 in jew-welry that in-cluded diamond earrings, rings and a sapphire, according to law-enforcemen­t officials. The NYPD released a still image of the burglars breaking into the back of the house Tuesday, as well as the video from the street. Ghermezian, an Iranian-Canadian developer and CEO of Triple Five Group worth a reported $2 billion, is best known as one of the owners of Minnesota’s sprawling Mall of America. Ghermezian and his businesspa­rtner brothers turned their attention to the Meadowland­s in New Jersey over the last few years, taking over constructi­on of the long-stalled — and often ridiculed — mega-mall next to MetLife Stadium. Formerly dubbed Xanadu, the American Dream mall partially opened on Oct. 25 and is expectedpe­cted to be fullyfu operationa­l next year. The mall is slatedsl to includeclu­de several high-end storefront­s — including ones for SainSaint Laurent, Gucci and LouLouis Vuitton — where GhGhermezi­an could replace his stolen bags if need bbe.
