Rockets’ Gordon to miss six weeks after surgery

Rockets guard Eric Gordon will have arthroscop­ic knee surgery Wednesday and be sidelined for about six weeks, coach Mike D’Antoni announced.

Gordon had an MRI on Tuesday morning after scoring 17 points in the Rockets’ 122-116 road victory on Monday night against the Pelicans.

Warriors lose another, Lee out with broken hand

Yet another member of the Warriors is injured, with two-way guard Damion Lee now out because of a broken right hand. The injury occurred during Golden State’s 122108 home loss to the Jazz on Monday night. Lee underwent an MRI exam that revealed a nondisplac­ed fracture of the fourth metacarpal.

Oladipo makes stop in G League on road back to Indy

The Pacers have temporaril­y assigned guard Victor Oladipo to their G-League affiliate in Fort Wayne. It’s largely a procedural move that gives the two-time All-Star an opportunit­y to get extra practice time.

Lock, Callahan make debuts at Broncos practice

Two players made their long-awaited debuts as the Broncos practiced on Tuesday: rookie quarterbac­k Drew

Lock and free agent cornerback Bryce Callahan. Lock landed on injured reserve to start the season after spraining his right thumb in mid-August. The Broncos will have to make a decision on his status by Dec. 3. If they don’t activate him by that date, he’ll stay on IR.

Colts work out kickers with Vinatieri struggling

With Adam Vinatieri enduring arguably the worst season of his prolific 24-year career, the Colts worked out four kickers. Elliott Fry, Greg Joseph, Mike Nugent and Nick Rose participat­ed in the workouts, according to multiple reports.
