What a dump!

Queens home has most 311 complaints in city about dog poop

The poop is hitting the fan in a neighborhood feud in Maspeth, Queens.

A home in the area has been singled out as the most-reported address for 311 complaints about dog poop, according to a recent study from real-estate listings site RentHop.com.

So far in 2019, the single-family residence at 64-69 59th Ave. has been reported no fewer than 50 times — up from 36 phone calls in 2018.

But its owner pooh-poohs what she describes as “false, unfounded” findings.

“I definitely refute the report,” Janice Ladusch, who shares the home with her husband and two dogs, told The Post. “We are vigilant [about picking up after pets].”

She claimed her “irrational” next-door neighbor is the one who has stunk up 311 with unnecessary complaints.

“She gets upset when we water our garden. She stares at me when I’m cleaning up leaves or washing the car,” said Ladusch, 58. “It started with her watching us whether we’re in the front or back [yards].”

She added that her family is diligent about keeping their yard and sidewalk tidy after their two pooches — Sheldon the Chihuahua and Al the Dachshund, both 12 — do their dirty business.

“I have a hose and a bucket of soapy water, and I pick up,” Ladusch said.

The house next door — in fact, the two are connected — is deeded to a man named Kevin Henderson, who didn’t return The Post’s calls for comment. The name of the woman who lives there, who didn’t come to the door when a Post reporter knocked, is not known.

“Ninety-five percent of the time I ignore her,” said Ladusch of her neighbor. “I try to pretend she’s not there.”

Other neighbors agree Ladusch isn’t to blame, but say the block — which faces the Mount Olivet Cemetery — has suffered a crappy situation for years.

“People from other blocks come here, walk their dogs, let them poop. And we’re left to deal with the odor,” said resident John Hart, 57, who has lodged dozens of 311 complaints in the past. “You can’t even get into your car without stepping in it.”

Hart believes the block is a hotbed for doo-doo drive-bys because of the lush, grassy walkway by the cemetery.

“It’s an ideal spot for poop,” he said. “They can hide behind the parked cars and get away with it.”

Neighbor Lester Krom, 51, agrees the situation has run afoul.

“There’s someone leaving really big poops,” he said. “I see them everywhere.”

Still, Maspeth is only No. 3 for dogs going No. 2, according to the RentHop.com report.

Middle Village, Queens, made it to the top of the heap, with a shocking 205 percent rise in complaints in 2018 — up from 20 to 61 calls. So far, 2019 is no better, with 86 total objections phoned in through November — a 41 percent year-over-year rise.

Overall, RentHop found that 2019 has been a decent year for cleaner streets in the five boroughs. As of November, there were 1,714 complaints, down 17.5 percent from the same period last year.
