Charles: We have to talk

Prince demands meeting with Andy

- By LEE BROWN

Prince Charles has ordered a crisis meeting with Prince Andrew, demanding he comes clean about his dealings with Jeffrey Epstein before a potentially damaging TV special, according to a report Sunday.

Charles, 71, the heir to the throne, ordered the meeting with his scandal-scarred 59-year-old brother before a Monday-night BBC special with accuser Virginia Roberts Giuffre, the Sunday Mirror reported.

“He has told his brother to be completely upfront, open and honest with him — and if there is anything else he thinks could come out,” a source told the British paper.

“[Charles] knows how damaging this issue is for the family, knows it has the potential to get much worse, and is taking it very, very seriously.”

The Prince of Wales, who was in New Zealand when Andrew was booted from royal duties, has reportedly sought counsel from their father, Prince Philip, as well as from Nicholas Soames, a veteran politician and grandson of Winston Churchill.

Philip, 98, is said to be furious at Andrew for humiliating the royal family with his disastrous BBC interview two weeks ago.

“He feels Andrew is undoing all the good work the queen has done,” the paper’s source said of the Duke of Edinburgh.

Giuffre alleges she had sex with Andrew at Epstein’s behest when she was 17.

Andrew’s troubles were in part sparked by his loyalty to Epstein, remaining friends and staying in his Upper East Side mansion even after Epstein was convicted of sex with underage girls.

Giuffre is expected to go into detail on Andrew and Epstein in her “Panorama” interview airing Monday, a teaser of which sees her discussing the “really scary time in my life” when she was allegedly a sex slave to the multimillionaire moneyman.

The BBC last week announced that it had doubled the length of the episode, “The Prince and the Epstein Scandal,” to an hour.

“It’s fair to say everyone is nervously chewing their lips at Buckingham Palace to see what she will say,” a source told The Sun.

Andrew has repeatedly denied the allegations against him and claims he has no recollection of meeting Giuffre nor posing for a now-infamous photo with her at alleged procurer Ghislaine Maxwell’s London home.

“He knows what happened. I know what happened. And there’s only one of us telling the truth,” Giuffre insists in the teaser for her interview.
