A Maine man was shot dead — by his own booby trap.

Ronald Cyr, 65, was fatally injured on Thanksgivi­ng Day by one of several contraptio­ns he had rigged inside his home to fire off a handgun in the direction of anyone who opened his door, Van Buren police said.

An American Airlines flight was diverted when a woman caused a disturbanc­e by faking breathing trouble in order to get a larger seat.

The Florida woman, who wasn’t identified, was arrested after the Miami-bound flight returned to Pensacola.
