Hunter’s Checkered Past: How Much Does It Matter?

-

What legitimate company wouldn’t want a prize like Hunter Biden on its board of directors (“Hunter’s high life,” Nov. 27)?

When he’s not fathering a child out of wedlock, hooking up with and then breaking up with his brother’s widow, getting kicked out of the Navy, spending thousands at strip joints and maybe smoking crack, the guy is all business. Jake McNicholas Whitestone

I get it! Hunter Biden is a rascal. He sleeps around, doesn’t take responsibility, took drugs, overdid the booze and went to rehab numerous times.

So he thinks he is above the law because daddy was No. 2 man in America. Who the heck cares? What I care about is that Hunter — with daddy either paving the way or looking the other way — used that privilege to enrich himself.

Joe Biden is no different than those rich Hollywood parents who bought their kids’ way into college. It wasn’t acceptable for them, and it’s not acceptable for the vice president.

Do I blame Hunter? Nope. He gets a free pass. Daddy has been saving him forever. This is all Hunter knows. I blame Joe Biden. He is a disgrace. Patricia O’Hanlon The Bronx

The Post ran a picture of Joe and Hunter Biden next to the headline “Hunter’s High Life” with an insert stating Hunter “apparently smoked crack” in a DC strip club.

What does Joe Biden have to do with this claim, the sole evidence for which was the one-time smell of burning Styrofoam emanating from the VIP room Hunter was in?

There was no mention as to whether other patrons were in the VIP room with Hunter at the time who could have been responsible for the odor.

Moreover, the article quoted the former managing partner as saying, “We didn’t see anything illegal.”

The evidence that the Democrats have to date presented against President Trump for his alleged “quid pro quo” with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, which The Post has rightly criticized as flimsy, has far more substance than the evidence that Hunter smoked crack. How about featuring the entitled, soulless Trump sons grinning in front of the trophy animals they slaughtered?

In any event, the scandalous behavior of adult offspring bears zero relation to the character of their parents. Iris Lynn Perry Rego Park
