LEAVING ’19 BEHIND
Randy Andy’s Yule card a real bummer
No butts about it, Prince Andrew’s past year went to the dogs — and he sent out a Christmas card saying as much.
The disgraced British royal bade his disastrous 2019 adieu with a holiday card that includes the backside of one of his Norfolk terriers.
“Say Goodbye to 2019,” the photo’s caption says.
The card was sent by Andrew, ex-wife Sarah Ferguson and their daughters, Princesses Beatrice, 31, and Eugenie, 29, to family and friends, the Daily Mail reported.
Among other images on the family’s cards is a path through the
Highlands, near his mother the queen’s Balmoral estate.
“We Look to the Road Ahead,” states the optimistic caption.
A message printed inside the embossed cards seems to reference the tough times that Andrew, 59, has faced amid the Jeffrey Epstein sex scandal. (See Page 10).
“We are united with gratitude for your support and kindness, Thank you,” says the message, which is signed by the humiliated royal, his ex and daughters, and Eugenie’s husband, Jack Brooksbank.
Andrew has been accused of sexually abusing one of Epstein’s then-teenage victims and continuing to pal around with the perverted financier even after the allegations against him surfaced. The prince has denied any wrongdoing. Epstein committed suicide in a Manhattan jail in August.
Andrew’s scandal has escalated recently with his train-wreck attempts to justify his ties to Epstein.
Meanwhile, Queen Elizabeth II, sent out an apparent coded diss to her son — as well grandson Prince Harry and his American wife, Meghan Markle — in her annual Christmas speech.
The queen filmed her holiday address next to a table full of photos of her family — minus the three royals.
A preview of the queen’s prerecorded message to the nation showed her addressing the “quite bumpy” year for the royals while seated stone-faced at a desk with prominently displayed family photographs.
A photo from Harry and Meghan’s wedding was featured during her 2018 address.
The couple has also been mired in bad press, including reports of a feud with Harry’s brother, Prince William.
Harry and Meghan released their own holiday card — their first with baby Archie — electronically, keeping with the prince’s save-the-environment stance.
Buckingham Palace declined to comment on Her Majesty’s holiday message.
